Rich vs Poor

While our landlord, building code violator Ben Shaoul, has (along with Magnum Real Estate partner Marc Ravner) turned one townhouse into a $10.7M six-bedroom, nine-bath home for one family, Mayor Bloomberg wants to change current regulations in order to squeeze the non-wealthy, non-celebrity tenants into tiny 275 square foot "micro" units. It is so obscene. And maybe this is why there is a shortage of housing in New York City.

  1. 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms??? Jeez. Honestly, tho, shouldn't that be 12 bathrooms? Assuming you have 5 couples visiting. Everyone should really have their own bathrooms, right? Otherwise it's not truly civilized, I think.

  2. Its such a shame that Manhattan is overrun by fame obsessed, celebrity seeking, shallow hillbillies, instead of leading the world into a majestic renaissance. NYC has festered into a Luxury Real Estate Developer/ Bankster sore of maggot invested bankruptcy.

  3. NYC Real Estate Developers, Mr. Shaoul included, have all jumped on the Conservative bandwagon and started afflicting the afflicted, and comforting the comfortable.

  4. Anonymous. Is this some sort of character assassination referring to Miss Hargitay as a celebrity seeking Hillbillie!! She is the daughter of Hollywood Royalty. She is one of our great actresses... no, thespian. She is an Artist! She deserves to live in opulent splendor as reward for the art and beauty she selflessly brings to the unwashed and ungrateful masses. Who are those silly poor people you refer to.... teachers, accountants, BLOGGERS? what do they contribute to society?

  5. Ben seems to collect bathrooms like a Saudi potentate collects wives.
